{"id":212,"date":"2016-05-22T15:00:02","date_gmt":"2016-05-22T15:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dssf.musselmanlibrary.org\/2021\/?page_id=212"},"modified":"2021-06-24T15:51:04","modified_gmt":"2021-06-24T19:51:04","slug":"digital-project-elements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dssf.musselmanlibrary.org\/2021\/resources\/digital-project-elements\/","title":{"rendered":"Digital Project Elements"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your digital project should contain the following elements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>An inviting <strong>Home<\/strong> page that introduces&nbsp;the central thesis\/research question of your project and draws the user in to explore more.<\/li><li><strong>Digital tools<\/strong> that provide a level of interactivity or visualization to your project, such as timelines, maps, charts and graphs, etc. WordPress does not count as a digital tool for this purpose for the fellowship, as it functions primarily&nbsp;as a content management system; however, Scalar or Omeka (for example) would count, as they provide interactivity, metadata, and other components of digital projects.<\/li><li><strong>Context, narrative, and interpretation<\/strong>&nbsp;about different aspects of your research question.<\/li><li><strong>Digital assets<\/strong> such as images, audio, and video, and their accompanying metadata, as necessary.<\/li><li>A <strong>Sources<\/strong>&nbsp;page or section (your bibliography).<\/li><li>An <strong>About<\/strong> page or section that provides:\n<ul>\n<li>A short biography.<\/li>\n<li>A reflective section that talks about why you chose your research question and the future of your project.<\/li>\n<li>A link to the Digital Scholarship Summer Fellowship 2019 page (https:\/\/dssf.musselmanlibrary.org\/2021)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li><li>A <strong>Documentation<\/strong>&nbsp;page or section that provides:\n<ul>\n<li>Information on the tools, content management systems, or other digital components used to create your project (including links to their web pages).<\/li>\n<li>Any customizations or special code created for the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your digital project should contain the following elements: An inviting Home page that introduces&nbsp;the central thesis\/research question of your project and draws the user in to explore more.
