Each lithograph\u2019s page will have a brief description of the poster and what it was for, a translation of it (if necessary) into English, any history or relevant information to the poster like influences and reference images, and notes about the artist. I would also like to put where the lithographs came from on a map and maybe put some of the information described above on a map instead. My audience will be art historians and people interested in the <em>Belle \u00c9poque<\/em>, but I want it to be more approachable and interesting to the general public as well. If it\u2019s out there on the internet where anyone can access it, it is better to have it be easily understandable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deliverables:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Twelve lithographs from Special Collections<\/li>\n<li>Secondary sources<\/li>\n<li>StoryMapJS<\/li>\n<li>WordPress or Scalar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Timeline:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Week 2:\n<ul>\n<li>Visit lithographs in special collections\n<ul>\n<li>Note questions<\/li>\n<li>Note observations about the pieces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Gather sources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Week 3:\n<ul>\n<li>Research- Gres Emile Muller poster\n<ul>\n<li>Try to at least finish one lithograph<\/li>\n<li>Finish meaning\n<ul>\n<li>Notations- culture, color, translations, meaning etc.<\/li>\n<li>History<\/li>\n<li>Artist bio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Week 4:\n<ul>\n<li>Research- Barcelona poster<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Week 5:\n<ul>\n<li>Research- Gigolette poster\n<ul>\n<li>Try to have completed three lithographs by now<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Week 6:\n<ul>\n<li>Research- Incandescenza\n<ul>\n<li>Can you sneak in another lithograph here? These are incredibly beautiful pieces, and from what I\u2019ve read they\u2019re little researched and not very talked about. Some of the sources about posters I\u2019ve grabbed have only offhandedly mentioned <em>Les Maitres de l\u2019Affiche<\/em> and did not actually provide any elaboration on them.
